Name: Aranya Ver'Sarn

Nicknames: Phoenix, Aran

Aliases: Varazsla Bloodwing/Goldwing/Starwing (depending on the disguise), Ankaa (Tanari-given name).

Occupation: Mage/Arcanist

Eyes: Luminescent violet

Hair: Black, "raquel" style

Height: 6'0"

Body-type: Slender

Tattoos: A tiny black phoenix emblem on the inside edge of one wrist, a tiny black-outline unicorn's head on the back of the neck, just slightly to one side, and a scrolling armband design made with red mana ink from the Kabal of Gadgetzan.

Face claim: Lana Parrilla (formerly Szilvia Péter Szabó)

Voice claim: Creator's own real-life voice.

I am "unruly" because I learn more effectively through an independent approach.

My penchant for making witticisms in every possible situation is unkillable.

Given the choice, I would prefer a sword over a staff.

I smile often and my smiles are always genuine.

I have no ambitions of ever becoming a Magistrix.

I know that true power only comes with understanding, that understanding only comes when you are ready for it, and that trying to force your way to such power before you can truly grasp it or handle it is a BAD IDEA that historically ends in disaster or demise.

I am reluctant to trust or truly "open up" to anyone on a personal level, and generally trust no one any further than I can jump away from them.

Everything in life is an adventure.

I refuse to let anyone see me cry.

Smoldering violet eyes sparkle from a light-complexioned face, normally with a mischievous or impish look to the whiskery black eyebrows. Tall and slender, with sleek black hair that is obviously well-kept, but rarely styled, and mostly left loose and flowing.

Aranya carries herself with ease and confidence, and tends to slouch only when she’s lazily leaning against something. She often smiles, sometimes lopsidedly, from having an unkillable sense of wit and humor and often making or responding to wry remarks.

Her voice is what many people have described as clear and mellifluous, and most stop to listen when she speaks or sings.

Aranya’s only piercings are one slender gold loop in each earlobe, but she bears two tattoos: a tiny black-outline unicorn’s head on the back of the neck, just slightly to one side, and a tiny black phoenix emblem on the inside edge of one wrist. Both are emblems of Quel'thalas, past and present.

A third tattoo of red mana from the Kabal of Gadgetzan adorns one of her upper arms, in a simple and tasteful, flowing armband design.

She always wears a pair of solid, well-worn boots, for comfort and practicality, even to formal occasions.

LORE & CONTINUITY

In such cases where aspects of conflicting lore are irreconcilable, then either the in-game events or the lore that makes the stronger case will be favored.

For the sake of realism, certain hard-line mechanics of the games are ignored.

Also for the sake of realism, events in the storylines of Eversong Woods/Ghostlands and Azuremyst/Bloodmyst Isle are written as happening in the weeks leading up to the Dark Portal Opens event.

My stories are neither written nor posted in any semblance of chronological order.
