Vorigoth cracked open a book and began to read.
Aranya stood off to the side of him, watching him, and the view beyond him. The arcanist tilted her head to one side, regarding him quietly. “You look quite picturesque, sitting like that,” she remarked, after a moment.
“Like a ball of steel and chaos,” replied Vorigoth, not looking up from his book.
The corner of Aranya’s mouth pulled up, and after a moment more, she went over and took a seat next to the death knight at the spire’s edge. Vorigoth glanced to his right, at her.
“You’re so tiny,” he noted, his voice a hollow growl, even when he spoke companionably softly.
The mage smiled, fel-lit eyes atwinkle. “Compared to you, of course,” she said. Her gaze went out to the view beyond them, and she wiggled her toes in her boots over the edge of the spire.
Vorigoth couldn’t help but glance at her feet for a lingering moment before back to his book. 
Some spur-of-the-moment after-dungeon RP with me and

last night. I love when moments like that just happen, naturally. Nobody says “let’s do this,” or “who starts?” It just HAPPENS and it’s great.
